Overview

If you want to make your career in Engineering Design - this course is just right for you. In this course you will be trained on Basic Design Concepts, 3D Modelling, 2D Detailing FEA and manufacturing processes.

Students will get a chance to work on Design projects from domestic and international companies.

After this course, you will be working for Design department of Automotive, Consumer Electronics, Aeronautics or other Engineering companies.

Eligibility

B.Tech. In Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Industrial/Polymer Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

Post Diploma from CIPET / CITD / IGTR / IDTR may also apply

Duration

After B.Tech.: 6 months - full-time.

During B. Tech: 2 Years - 2 Hrs/day during the semester and full time during Summer break and Winter break.

Overview

This course is meant for students who are participating in Mini Baja SAEINDIA competition and need a guiding hand during the virtual stage. We organize special workshops and conduct special courses for students who are interested in learning the applications for CAD and CAE tools like Solidworks, Pro-Engineer and ANSYS etc. in Mini Baja vehicle design

  1. 3D modelling software like Solidworks, Pro-Engineer plus modelling of Mini Baja vehicle as final project
  2. FEA Analysis using ANSYS plus analysis of Mini Baja roll cage and other components as final project
  3. Designing of Mini Baja Vehicle (This course focuses on automobile engineering and Mini Baja vehicle design basics and their application in the vehicle design process)

  1. 3D Modelling » Modelling of complete Mini Baja vehicle (roll cage design, suspension design, steering design, wheels and tires etc.)
  2. FEA Analysis » Analysis of roll cage and other Mini Baja vehicle components in ANSYS, calculation of impact loads and suspension loads etc.
  3. Designing of Mini Baja vehicle: A general approach to Mini Baja vehicle design, vehicle dynamics, suspension, steering, chassis, wheels and tires basics and other automotive fundamentals, FMEA & GANTT chart preparation etc.
